Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

With 25 European boat models already benefiting from the technology, we are now offering our services in the United States to selected boatbuilders. Exclusive sea trials are held for the industry and media during IBEX 2024 in Tampa US at dock M-17 and make sure to also visit us at our stand in sustainability pavilion 1-314

Join us for an exclusive sea trial and discover what our innovative hull technology can bring to the boating industry

Don't miss this opportunity to see firsthand how Petestep technology reduces fuel consumption, increases speed, and improves comfort on the water, on our Fugu 29 RIB. Our team will be available to answer all your questions and demonstrate the benefits of our technology at our booth 1-314 at the sustainability pavilion, and at Dock M-17.

Spray accounts for up to 35% of resistance

Did you know that hull bottom spray accounts for up to 35% of the resistance on conventional planing boats? This spray resistance is made up of two parts - frictional and shape resistance. Frictional resistance comes from the added wetted surface, and the shape resistance is pressure slowing the boat down.

By intercepting the spray close to the water surface and redirecting it backwards, Petestep hulls reduce friction, increase lift and produce thrust. All while the noisy conventional strakes can be removed, making the hull smoother in waves and quieter. Petestep hulls also ride significantly smoother in waves.

Shock-mitigating ride

Slamming g-force is reduced by up to 50% by utilizing Petestep hull technology, partially due to removal of conventional strakes. For professional boat operators, this is invaluable as it increases their abilities and reduces risk for injuries and breakdowns.

For leisure boaters, this means greatly increased comfort, less stress on passengers and more enjoyable days at sea.
